The past
decade was a transition of sorts for Malayalam films with a big bunch of
experimental films that hit all the right spots at the same time giving rise to
a neo- new wave movement that was nicknamed the “New-Gen” films, all for good
cause. We will be ever grateful to this decade for killing out almost all of
